I saw a commercial for rebates and incentives through Oklahoma Natural Gas. What types of incentives are available?
For contractors, there are incentives available for the installation of natural gas-powered tankless water heaters, natural gas water heaters replacing electric water heaters and energy-efficient natural gas home-heating systems.
My customer is not an Oklahoma Natural Gas customer. Am I still eligible for incentives for work completed in their home?
No. Incentives are only available if work is done for an active customer of Oklahoma Natural Gas.

How long do I have to apply for the contractor incentive?
If your W-9 and contractor license number are on file with Oklahoma Natural Gas, Oklahoma Natural Gas must receive completed applications from your customer within 90 days after the upgrade or inspection has been completed. Please keep in mind that rebates amounts are limited, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds are depleted.
When will I get my rebate?
If your W-9 is on file, and all elements of the customer’s application are complete and incentives are still available, you should receive a check in six to eight weeks.
Contractor incentives are contingent on the successful processing of the customer’s application. We strongly encourage contractors to assist customers with the completion of the application.May my incentive be applied to my Oklahoma Natural Gas bill balance or may I receive it in cash?
No, incentives are sent in the form of a check.
What do I need to include when I apply for an incentive?
Contractors must submit their W-9 along with their contractor license number prior to completing work in order to be eligible for contractor incentives. Your customer must submit the following items in order for their rebate and the contractor incentives to be successfully processed. We strongly encourage contractors to assist customers with the completion of the application.

Its been more than eight weeks and I haven’t received my check. What should I do?

Will I be notified if my application was rejected or incomplete?
Yes. Notification of incomplete and/or rejected rebate applications, along with all submitted documents, will be mailed back to the sender providing the reason(s) for the returned application. Incentives are contingent and payable based upon the successful processing of the customer’s application for a rebate.
We strongly encourage contractors to assist customers with the completion of the application.Are contractor incentives still available?

Will I be assigned customers?
No. Selection of a qualified service provider is at the sole discretion of the customer. Oklahoma Natural Gas does not select or manage the relationship between the contractor and the customer.
What if I missed an appointment with a customer?
Oklahoma Natural Gas will not intervene in disputes between the contractor and customer.
I lost my check, may I get a replacement?
Yes. To report a lost check, please contact 800-208-7267. We will take your information, complete a cash processing form and an Oklahoma Natural Gas representative will contact you.
I installed a natural gas water heater a few months ago; am I still eligible for the contractor incentive?
The rebate program begins September 15, 2011. Services provided before this date are not eligible for a rebate. Incentives are contingent and payable based upon the successful processing of the customer’s application for a rebate.
I am not an Oklahoma licensed contractor; may I still apply for the incentive program?
The incentive program is only available to Oklahoma licensed contractors.
My customers contract with me to have their HVAC systems inspected annually. Will they still qualify for the furnace checkup rebate? If so, how do they apply, and what do they use for their invoice since they have already paid for the inspection service?
Yes, if services are provided on or after the September 15, 2011, program start date. Customers should submit the 26-Point Heating-System Checklist along with a supportive invoice and completed application.
