I saw a commercial for a rebate through Oklahoma Natural Gas. What types of rebates are available?
Rebates are available for having your home-heating system inspected or replaced. Rebates also are available for installing energy-efficient, natural gas water heaters, clothes dryers and furnaces in a new or existing home.

When will I receive my rebate?
If all elements of the application are complete and rebates are still available, you should receive a check in the mail in six to eight weeks.
May my rebate be applied to my Oklahoma Natural Gas bill balance or may I receive it in cash?
No, all rebates are sent in the form of a check.

How do I get an application?

www.OklahomaNaturalGas.com/rebates, or we will be happy to mail you an application to your home. Call the Information Center at 800-208-7267 to request an application be mailed to you.
My home is all electric. What rebates am I eligible for?
You will be eligible for rebates if you convert your home-heating system and/or appliances to natural gas and become an Oklahoma Natural Gas customer.
I am not an Oklahoma Natural Gas customer. Am I eligible for rebates?
You will be eligible for rebates if you convert an eligible appliance(s) in your home to natural gas and become an Oklahoma Natural Gas customer.
How long do I have to apply for the rebates?
You have 90 days after an installation or furnace inspection has been completed to apply. Please keep in mind that rebate amounts are limited and are available on a first-come, first served basis until program funds are depleted.
It’s been more than eight weeks and I haven’t received my check. What should I do?

Will I be notified if my application was rejected or incomplete?
Yes. Notification of incomplete and/or rejected rebate applications, along with all submitted documents, will be mailed back to the customer providing the reason(s) for the returned application.
Can I resubmit my forms if I didn’t do it right the first time?
Yes. The resubmitted forms must be received within 90 days of installation and will be processed in the order in which they are received.

I’m planning to purchase a new water heater/appliance in six months; will there be rebates available at that time?
Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds are depleted.
Will you assign a contractor to me?
No. Selection of a qualified service provider is at the sole discretion of the customer. Oklahoma Natural Gas does not select or manage the relationship between the contractor and the customer.
What if my contractor didn’t show up?
Oklahoma Natural Gas will not intervene in disputes between the contractor and customer.

I lost my rebate check; may I get a replacement?
Yes. We will take your information, complete a cash-processing form, and you will be contacted by an Oklahoma Natural Gas representative.
I bought my appliance some time ago; may I still get a rebate?
The rebate program begins September 15, 2011. Purchases and services provided before this date are not eligible for a rebate. Applications must be received within 90 days of service.
My balance is past due; may I still get a rebate?
Yes. If your home still has active natural gas service from Oklahoma Natural Gas, you are eligible for a rebate.
I have already contracted with my HVAC dealer to perform annual equipment checkups. I pay for this service annually. Will I still qualify for the furnace checkup rebate? If so, how do I apply and what do I use for my invoice since I have already paid for my contract and do not have an invoice specific to the heating-system checkup?
Yes, if services are provided on or after the September 15, 2011, program start date. Submit your 26-point heating-system checklist performed and provided by your contractor along with a supportive invoice. In addition, your contractor will need to provide the contractor information required on the application. Submit your application following the plan’s procedures. Rebates will be received in six to eight weeks.
