CNG Rebate Program
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission approved a compressed natural gas (CNG) rebate program for Oklahoma Natural Gas. This rebate program is intended to promote CNG use in Oklahoma. Rebates will be funded through a 25-cent surcharge on each gallon of CNG sold at all public CNG dispensers owned and operated by Oklahoma Natural Gas.

Rebates will be processed on a first come, first served basis as funds are available, with a complete application. Compressed natural gas vehicles purchased on or after June 18, 2012, may be eligible to receive the rebate.
Properly completed rebate applications received after November 26, 2012, will be paid at the levels of $1,000 for a dedicated CNG vehicle, $500 for a bi-fueled vehicle and $1,000 for a residential home-fueling system.
Retroactive tax credits from the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 from the previous year’s public CNG sales at Oklahoma Natural Gas owned and operated public stations are now available. These funds will be used to pay pending accepted CNG rebate applications. Customer rebate checks will be processed promptly and remaining funds from these tax credits will be placed in a rebate pool.
